Your wedding is fast approaching and you suddenly realize how nervous you are - not about getting married but about how you will look in the photographs. Perhaps you are afraid you are not very photogenic or that you will simply have a frozen smile on your face because you will know that the cameras are all pointing toward you. All you want to do is to look your best on your wedding day, and here are a few tips to help you get over those photography jitters.

The old adage that practice makes perfect is a great one when you are looking forward to your wedding photography. By looking at some wedding blogs and trying some of the poses out in front of a mirror, you will be ahead of the game. Practicing these other tips can help too.
Keep your back straight. Of course you don't want to look stiff, but you don't want to look like a hunchback either. If you can think about keeping your shoulders back, even while sitting, it will help with your posture. When you are standing, think about the shoulders staying back and tilting your hips forward a bit.
Tilt your chin down slightly, whether the photos are fully posed or partially candid. People often tilt their chins up when they are being photographed, but that is generally not a very flattering look, so keep yours down a bit.
Breathe in. For people who tend to blink when their picture is being taken, have your Cincinnati wedding photographer count to three and just before he says three, breathe in. Strangely enough, most people don't blink when they begin to take in a breath.

Don't isolate yourself. Your loved ones are surrounding you, and the photographs can show the affection you have for each other.
